Craniosacral Therapy
Feel your body settle, your nervous system ease, and layers of tension gently release. CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, non-invasive manual therapy that detects and addresses restrictions in the craniosacral system, as well as strain patterns that travel throughout the body. These subtle restrictions can influence physical function, emotional balance, and energy flow. CST works with your body’s natural rhythms to support release, restoration, and alignment.
Guided by your body, I facilitate subtle corrections through light, precise touch in the connective tissue and craniosacral system, helping the nervous system settle and allowing the body to release stored tension and restrictions. Pain or dysfunction in one area may signal tension elsewhere; CST helps trace these patterns, supporting balance, integration, and ease throughout the body.
CST has been shown to support a wide range of conditions, including headaches, chronic pain, concussion recovery, neurodevelopmental differences such as ADD or ADHD, and stress-related patterns. It can also benefit anyone seeking deep relaxation, emotional release, or support for their nervous system. By working with the body’s own wisdom, the therapy allows the system to guide the session, with touch simply facilitating the release, integration, and restoration that your body is capable of.
This work draws on the research and teachings of Dr. John Upledger, who pioneered CranioSacral Therapy after extensively documenting its effects on the brain, spinal cord, and connective tissue networks. His studies, including work with autism and concussion recovery, highlighted how gentle, intentional touch can profoundly affect both body and mind. CST emphasizes the interconnectedness of structure, fascia, and energy, and when combined with approaches like Somato-Emotional Release, it can create profound shifts in both physical and emotional patterns.
Every session is an invitation to tap into your body’s own intelligence, releasing held tension, restoring calm, and allowing alignment and balance to naturally unfold. My role is not to fix you, but to listen, support, and follow your body’s guidance, creating the conditions for your system to heal itself.
